Right? (Major and minor in music, that is)<\/p>\n<p>No. It\u2019s all in the context of the music and listeners brain.<\/p>\n<p>You can fill a song with bright major chords and clear melodies, but if the tune\u2019s beat is sticky and overall feel dark, and you spice the whole thing up with lyrics about loss &amp; desperation, you get something that really isn\u2019t happy at all.<\/p>\n<p>The folk music of Balkan \u2013 on the other hand \u2013 is filled with minor chords and melancholia, but the rhythm in that music is very often so lively, that sadness is the last thing on your mind. (I\u2019m counting out the lyrics here, because I only speak \u2018n read Canadian &amp; Cimmerian)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kongano.com\/?page_id=38\">DUMMY IN THE HEAT<\/a> features a lot of diminished chords &amp; intervals, which are like double minors \u2013 two minor thirds on top of another.
