Not Drive.

More than anything else, MULHOLLAND is a huge, slow-moving mass.

Mess it is not, because it is very steady, umm mass.

Aaand it’s pretty massive.

You might find something familiar there. That is intentional, and was sort of my starting point, from which I ventured for my own direction.

The title came to me while mixing. Dunno where. I do know that there’s nothing to do with William M. or David L. Not even Jack & Warren, those little rascals.

Marie Said It.

KISSNAPPERS CURIOUS DILEMMA sounds like an anagram, but it is not. Or…

“Kissnappers” could be pepsi snarks, ski snappers or apps sinkers.

“Curious” turns out to be a tough one. Not really any good options. Curio us is boring. Rico usu sounds funny but nah.

However, “dilemma” has some great options: Edam mil, lime mad, and my personal favourite Dali Mme.

You could of course try and make the anagram three words long. This way you’d get results like:

Adria opeculums skimpiness

Americanised populism rusks

Auckland primps semiserious…

At this point my computer started growling menacingly, so I stopped.

Anagrams!

Back With a Vengeance.

I said I’d do it, so I did it. Dum-di-dum.

MRS COFFEE is an expansion pack for a tune I made earlier. (Released almost exactly three months ago, if you wanna check it out. I’m sure you’ll see what piece of music I’m referring to)

It’s jazz. Not particulary complex kind. There’s like three chords going on and on and on.

I like it! It’s cool. Not “cool jazz” per se. Just, you know, cool.

Whoa, Man!

So, today’s Easter Monday. Or so they say.

Easter is a pretty complex festival. You need like a degree in theological mathematics to even figure out when it is. Just check the “Table of the dates of Easter by Gregorian and Julian calendars”.

Confusion is real.

So II, today’s tune is ETHOS. Coming later this lifetime: The other two!

More Bananas.

Bananas. They’re great.

And very particular, as we’ve already discussed. No use of getting through that again.

They’re also an excellent reference point for any imaginable situation. And metaphors, don’t even get me started there.

Bananas are the cycle of life, or if you don’t want to get too pompous, the cycle of a week in a life.

From monday to thurday you consume good old bananas, nothing less, nothing added. At home in the early day, at work, on the road, like you’d be playing some stupid mobile game to pass the time.

Minesweeper! That’s a better one. Regular bananas are minesweeper.

Friday evening is banana chip time. Preferably the kind that has extra cinnamon & honey in it. Banana chips are UNO.

Saturday is banana soda time, although that stuff tastes like childhood, more than bananas. Yep, banana soda accompanied by some Carcassonne.

Sunday is banana/blueberry smoothie day, which should be served with some Souls-likes.

Games. They’re great, aren’t they?

From The Past.

Several years ago, I was slurping some tea in the workplace coffee lounge, when a colleague of mine entered the room. She had a huge smile on her face.

No sane person ever smiles without a reason (right?), so I asked her why so smiley.

Her answer was instant, and it seemed like a sincere one: “I’m doing great!”

I can’t remember how I reacted, or what I said to her. It probably wasn’t anything clever, because her explanation for the grin was quite unexpected:

“Uhh, hey, that’t great.”

Why do I still remember this uneventful event?

Nothing to do with SODA CRAZY.

Revision.

So, yours truly just went through a complete techological reform. Meaning new computer and recording software, aka daw.

Here we have FIRST OF A KIND, which was the first tune I made using the new equipment.

I pretty much used the “old methods” in the process of production. It’s a long and winding road to learn all the new stuff that my fancy new gear are capable of, but hey, I’m in no rush.

Old dog can learn new tricks!
